The Skillin School PTA would like to announce that there are two positions open on the Board, and we are requesting nominations for the following positions for the 2014/2015 school year:

• Treasurer
• Secretary

If you are interested or know of someone who would be, or just have questions regarding these positions, please email your nominations and/or inquiries to skillinschoolpta@gmail.com


Additionally:

• we are seeking a Chairperson or Co-Chairs to assist in handling the Fall Meadow Farms Fundraiser; and
• a Co-Chair to assist with the Fall Pumpkin Festival

We will train anyone who is interested in assisting in these positions.

Additionally:

Volunteer Opportunities Are Available For Our 7th Annual Ecology Day!

On Wed., Feb. 12th (storm date of Wed., March 5th) all students will be going outside to rotate through three nature awareness type activities in the Skillin School Learning Gardens. Several volunteers are needed to help run these centers (you would not be on your own to run the activity!).
You can sign up for the morning or afternoon shift, or for the whole day (9:15 - 2:45 with a lunch break). Please consider joining us for this fun day! Contact Anne Cyr to sign up or if you have any questions:

Skillin Staff Appreciation Lunch This Thursday!!

Please join us in showing the Skillin School Staff just how much we appreciate them. The PTA will be providing ziti and bread for the Staff Luncheon on Thursday, December 19th.

If able, we ask that parents send/bring in a side dish or dessert to go along with it. Food can be dropped off in the teacher's room or office Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning.
